Already home to Wachovia Bank, Arnall Golden Gregory and Burr & Forman Attorneys as well as one of Atlanta's oldest real estate institutions — Carter. The environmentally-friendly Class A office building is receiving praise from those already working here and from architecture critics alike.
Take one step into the building’s museum-quality lobby and you'll notice that no corners were cut in the pursuit of a truly remarkable work environment. Providing views never before seen [except from a helicopter], 171 17th Street is the first of a number of towers planned for Atlantic Station. The first building in the entire Southeast built to LEED specifications, 171 is the most environmentally friendly and energy efficient commercial office building Atlanta has ever seen.
Easy access by car, shuttle bus, bicycle or on foot, and proximity to public transit provides this community with a distinct advantage, and the 17th Street Bridge has already become an Atlanta landmark. Connecting Northside Drive to the West with Peachtree Street to the East, the bridge has four auto lanes, two transit lanes, two bike lanes, and sidewalks on either side to accommodate pedestrians.
The Atlantic Station shuttle is available to all residents, employees and customers of Atlantic Station. The shuttle is free and runs between the Arts Center MARTA station and the site every few minutes. Patrons will be directed by signage to the shuttle stops.
